Mental Health Resource Center, Inc. (MHRC) is a Florida nonprofit corporation that has provided behavioral health and social services since May 1977. Operating across an integrated service delivery system, the organisation covers a range of care settings: 24-hour emergency services, inpatient psychiatric care for children, adolescents and adults, and outpatient services including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, counselling and psychosocial rehabilitation.
Beyond clinical care, MHRC runs state hospital liaison services, forensic services, in-jail behavioral health services, a co-responder program pairing behavioral health staff with emergency response, and a therapeutic family program. It also operates eight Florida Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) programs serving adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
The organisation is present in Jacksonville, Clearwater, Gainesville, Kissimmee, Rockledge, Tampa and Winter Haven. It is accredited by The Joint Commission. Centralised administrative, finance, accounting, human resources, information technology and quality improvement functions are provided through a partnership with Renaissance Behavioral Health Systems.
