LS Power Development, LLC is a development, investment, and operating company focused on the North American power and energy infrastructure sector. Founded in 1990, the firm works across power generation development, energy infrastructure investment and high-voltage transmission, with activities spanning utility-scale solar, wind energy, hydroelectric power, battery energy storage and natural gas-fired generation.

Its work is organised into three business segments. LS Power Generation covers power generation development and operations and forms part of more than 50,000 MW of capacity developed and acquired. LS Power Grid builds and operates high-voltage transmission assets, with over 780 miles of transmission across 7 transmission utilities and more than 375 additional miles under construction or development. LS Power Solutions invests in and scales energy infrastructure businesses in electric vehicle charging, demand response, microgrids, renewable fuels and waste-to-energy.

In total, the company has raised over $76 billion in debt and equity capital. Technical work spans high-voltage transmission, distributed energy resources and grid optimisation, alongside conventional generation.
