Lighting Maintenance Inc. (LMI) is a family-owned electrical and lighting contractor founded in 1991. The company provides lighting and electrical services to government and commercial customers, working with municipalities, public agencies, universities, retailers, industrial facilities and major sports venues across Maryland, Virginia and the wider mid-Atlantic region. It operates from five strategic locations and maintains more than 200,000 lights.

Its work spans street lighting installation, maintenance and repair, traffic signal systems, sports and stadium lighting, and commercial lighting installations for retail and industrial sites. LMI also carries out lighting assessments, LED retrofit and upgrade projects, indoor and outdoor lighting repair and maintenance, and horizontal directional drilling to support lighting and electrical installations. The company assists customers with utility rebate programmes for energy-efficient projects and offers emergency lighting and electrical service.
