LastPass

LastPass develops identity and password management software for individuals, families, small businesses and enterprises. Its products are used by more than 100,000 businesses and over 5 million active users. The company operates in North America and EMEA.

The core product, LastPass Password Manager, stores and protects credentials so that they remain private but accessible to the user. Alongside it sit LastPass Identity Management Solutions, a set of identity and access management tools described as award-winning. Both are built on a zero-knowledge security model, under which user data is kept private even from LastPass itself.

The engineering work spans cloud security, zero-knowledge security architecture, identity and access management and wider cybersecurity. LastPass describes itself as a pioneer in cloud security technology and continues to develop new products in the field. Its stated design approach favours convenience and ease of use in security products.
