ISG is a 100% employee-owned firm providing architecture, engineering, environmental and planning services to industrial, manufacturing, utility and infrastructure clients across the United States. Founded in 1973 by two engineers in the basement of a small-town home, the firm has grown to 20 offices in nine states, organised into 12 business units, and remains privately held under an employee-ownership model.
Its work spans architecture, civil and structural engineering, environmental services, planning, industrial, infrastructure and utility engineering, 3D visualisation and construction administration. Services are delivered by cross-disciplinary teams of architects, planners, engineers, visualisation specialists and construction administrators working without silos, rather than through separate departments. Visualisation work is produced by dedicated specialists embedded within integrated project teams.
