Human Longevity, Inc.

Precision medicine company combining whole genome sequencing, whole-body MRI, blood biomarkers and AI analytics for early disease detection and health risk assessment.

Human Longevity, Inc. is a precision medicine company founded in 2013 by genomics pioneer Dr. J. Craig Venter, who led the first sequencing of a complete human genome. The company combines whole genome sequencing, whole-body MRI, more than 120 blood biomarkers and AI analytics to support proactive, early disease detection. Its technical work spans genomics, medical imaging, bioinformatics, biomarker analysis and deep learning.

Its integrated health assessment generates more than 150 gigabytes of data per client, and its health intelligence platform has cataloged over 400 million genetic variants. The platform is designed for continuous re-analysis rather than a one-time snapshot, with insights updated as science advances. More than $600 million has been invested in research.

The company operates two precision medicine clinics: a flagship site in San Diego, California, established in 2015, and a second clinic in the Bay Area biotech corridor, opened in 2022. Work is carried out by an interdisciplinary team of scientists, physicians and technologists, supported by a scientific advisory board that includes Nobel laureates Geoffrey Hinton and Michael Levitt and biogerontologist Aubrey de Grey.
