Ghost Story Games

An independent, self-publishing studio founded in 2017 by Ken Levine and former Irrational Games developers, building the narrative-driven first-person shooter Judas.

Ghost Story Games is an independent, self-publishing game development studio founded in 2017 by Ken Levine together with twelve former Irrational Games developers. The team of 13 brings experience from System Shock 2, BioShock and BioShock Infinite; Irrational Games, its predecessor studio, was closed by Take-Two Interactive in 2014. The company is well-funded and operates without a publisher, giving it control over the development of its titles.

The studio's debut project is Judas, a single-player, narrative-driven first-person shooter led creatively by Ken Levine, which remains in development. Its work centres on narrative design, immersive world building, interactive storytelling and single-player game design. Ghost Story Games is based in the Greater-Boston area of Massachusetts and operates as a fully remote organisation.
