The firm works across the transportation, energy and building sectors - among them bridges, dams, tunnels, rail systems, airports, ports, wind energy, mining and water infrastructure - combining consulting, testing and products under one roof. Its stated focus is helping clients manage risk and optimise infrastructure performance through integrated services and equipment.
The company operates through three divisions. The Consulting Division delivers geostructural design and performance monitoring, alongside geotechnical consulting, active risk management, asset management, forensic engineering and litigation support. The Testing Division, branded GeoTesting Express, provides laboratory and field testing of soil, rock, geosynthetics, aggregate, concrete and other materials. The Products Division designs, manufactures, sells and installs fully automated laboratory and field testing equipment for geotechnical applications, serving customers worldwide.
Technical work spans geotechnical engineering, geostructural design, infrastructure and performance monitoring, laboratory and field testing, automated testing equipment design and manufacturing, asset management and forensic engineering. Engineering and technical staff therefore have exposure to a range of settings, from design consulting and site investigation to instrumentation, data and equipment development.
