Express, Inc. is an omnichannel fashion retailer founded in 1980 and headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. The company sells modern apparel and accessories for men and women - covering work, everyday wear and special occasions - through retail stores, outlet stores and e-commerce. Its first store opened in 1980 at Water Tower Place in Chicago; by 1986 the chain had grown to 250 stores, and it has operated as a dual-gender brand since 2001, when Express Men absorbed the Structure stores.
