Ent Security

Ent Security builds an intent-aware platform that reads human, AI and app activity in real time to detect insider risk, govern AI use and prevent data loss.

Ent Security builds an intent-aware security platform for AI-native enterprises. Its system reads human, AI and application activity in real time, seeking to understand not only what users and AI agents do but why they do it. On that basis it intervenes at the moment of risk: detecting insider threats, governing AI usage, preventing data loss, stopping last-mile threats and supporting incident investigation with full behavioural context. The product extends endpoint security into a real-time prevention layer across both human and AI-driven work.

The platform is in production with Global 2000 customers. Sectors represented among its users include hospitality, financial services and defence. Technical work spans real-time behavioural analytics, insider risk detection, AI usage governance, data loss prevention and threat prevention, with behavioural context central to how the system operates.

The company has raised $100m in seed funding from investors including Decibel, Sequoia, Crosspoint Capital and In-Q-Tel. It is headquartered in San Francisco, California, and was founded by Elias Manousos and Brandon Dixon, serial entrepreneurs and former co-founders of RiskIQ, which was acquired by Microsoft, and the team behind Microsoft Security Copilot. The stated mission is to restore prevention to cybersecurity after a decade in which the field relied chiefly on reactive detection.
