Ensemble Performing Arts

Ensemble Performing Arts is an owner and operator of independently run music and dance schools across the United States. Founded in 2019 by Jeff Homer, the company acquires established studios and provides them with centralized administrative support while preserving each school's name, identity and local legacy. It now comprises more than 125 locations and over 1,500 teachers nationwide.

The studios within the Ensemble network deliver music and dance instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. Behind the scenes, Ensemble's central team handles scheduling, administration and finance and accounting work, on the principle that strong school administration underpins strong teaching. The company describes its role as that of stagehands rather than front-of-house operators: teachers are freed to concentrate on instruction and on nurturing artistic expression.

Roles at Ensemble span both the classroom and the back office, covering music education, dance education and performing arts pedagogy, alongside school administration and operations, scheduling, finance and accounting, and multi-location school management. The company also works on the acquisition and integration of independent studios. Across the network, independently run schools retain their local character while drawing on shared central resources.
