Emergent Labs builds an AI-powered development platform that turns natural-language descriptions into production-ready web and mobile applications. Users describe what they want in plain language and AI agents handle design, coding, testing and deployment end-to-end, without drag-and-drop no-code interfaces or code written from scratch. The output is real code that users own outright and can modify, download or host anywhere; GitHub integration provides version control.

The company's flagship product, Emergent Platform, reached $100m in annual recurring revenue eight months after launch. More than 6.5 million applications have been built on the platform, which has over 6 million users across more than 190 countries. Technical work spans AI agents, conversational interfaces, AI code generation, automated software testing and deployment, with an emphasis on correctness, reliability, security and scalability in real production systems.

Investors include Khosla Ventures, SoftBank, Google, Lightspeed, Prosus, Together and Y Combinator. The team includes repeat founders, Olympiad medalists, alumni from top institutions, and leaders from major technology companies including Google, Amazon and Dropbox. Emergent operates in the AI developer tools, low-code and SaaS application-building markets.
