Distyl AI

Distyl AI designs and deploys enterprise AI systems for Fortune 500 companies, combining a forward-deployed engineering model with its proprietary Distillery platform.

Distyl AI partners with Fortune 500 enterprises to help them become AI-native, designing and deploying AI systems that produce measurable business outcomes within months rather than years. The company works with blue-chip clients across telecom, healthcare, manufacturing, insurance and retail, and reports that its systems have reached more than 120 million end users in three years, generating operating impact in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

At the centre of its offering is Distillery, a proprietary AI platform deployed through a forward-deployed engineering model, which places engineers alongside enterprise teams to rearchitect operations. Reported client results include 80% faster root cause resolution, more than $200m in forecasted annual impact and $23m in annual savings. The technical work spans enterprise AI systems, large language model deployment, AI-native software engineering and research-driven development, with an emphasis on building reusable AI software platforms.

The company was founded by Arjun Prakash and Derek Ho, both former Palantir leaders, and maintains deep partnerships with OpenAI and Microsoft for joint deployments at large enterprises. It has raised $175 million at a $1.8 billion valuation, with backing from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Khosla Ventures, DST Global, Coatue and Dell Technologies Capital. Distyl AI operates from San Francisco and New York.
