Waterford, Ireland, the group now operates in Ireland, the United Kingdom, France and across Continental Europe, and exports to more than 70 countries. Its products are sourced from grass-fed livestock and supplied to local, national and international retail and food service customers.
The company works with over 20,000 farmer suppliers in Ireland. Some 96% of the cattle and sheep it processes come from members of Bord Bia's Sustainable Beef and Lamb Assurance Scheme. Its work spans food processing, meat production and processing, sustainable sourcing and agricultural supply chain management.
Sustainability is a stated operational priority. Dawn Meats is a founding member of Origin Green and holds Origin Green Gold Membership for 2025. Its Plan Four Zero strategy sets out commitments across energy, water, emissions, waste, raw material sourcing, biodiversity, and people and community, with the stated ambition of becoming Europe's most sustainable meat company.
