The company was founded in 1968 as a home-based typesetting and printing operation run by Ken and Lorraine Merrill in St. Paul, Minnesota. Under the name Merrill Corporation it grew into a financial printing business handling complex transactions, before evolving into the software company it is today. The firm draws on more than 50 years of capital transactions experience.
