Core BTS

Core BTS is a full-service digital transformation consultancy founded in 2004. It works with commercial and public-sector clients on cloud migration, cloud computing, modern workplace technology, application development, cybersecurity and networking, with an emphasis on practical, business-aligned solutions to complex technical problems.

The firm's service portfolio spans several distinct practices. Cloud Solutions covers migration and ongoing cloud services; Modern Workplace Solutions addresses workplace technology for commercial and public-sector customers; Application Development provides custom software builds; Security Solutions handles cybersecurity; and Networking Solutions is supported by a Network Operations Center in Madison, Wisconsin.

Core BTS has grown partly through acquisition, absorbing Core Business Technology Solutions, SADA Systems' Microsoft Business Unit, Blue Chip Consulting Group, Skyline Technologies and Aptera Software, among others. The company rebranded to the Core BTS name in 2008 and was acquired by Nomura Research Institute (NRI) in 2021, gaining access to a global network. It operates in the United States and, through NRI, more widely.

Working practices are shaped by a stated focus on client experience and on simplifying complex technical scenarios. The company recently began rebranding under the NRI name to offer greater scale and global reach.
