Climax Studios

Climax Studios is an award-winning game development studio founded in 1994. Working across AAA and indie projects, it delivers entire games end-to-end, co-development partnerships, game art production, and technical consulting and innovation services. The studio has more than 30 years in operation and counts Google, Microsoft, Sony and Amazon among its major platform partners.

The company operates from four studios in the United Kingdom: Portsmouth, London, Liverpool and Edinburgh. Its work spans video games, AAA and indie gaming, and entertainment, drawing on an evolution from indie roots to expertise covering both ends of the market.

Climax Studios describes a collaborative culture in which teams are given genuine ownership over their craft and individuals are encouraged to take initiative. The studio emphasises creativity, team spirit and an inclusive working environment, and positions itself as a home for developers who enjoy being challenged. On client engagements, it prioritises understanding the client's intellectual property and culture from the outset.
