Chaney Enterprises

Chaney Enterprises is a family-owned supplier of construction materials, founded in 1962 by Eugene "Babe" Chaney and headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland. The company supplies ready-mix concrete, sand, stone, gravel and general building materials to contractors, builders and homeowners across Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., serving the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States. Materials are delivered by land, sea and rail.

The business has grown from a one-truck operation into a network of more than 100 ready-mix concrete plants and more than a dozen sand and gravel facilities. Its product range covers ready-mix concrete supplied from its regional plant network, aggregates drawn from its sand and gravel facilities, and building materials for the trade and retail customers.

Chaney Enterprises is led by chief executive Francis "Hall" Chaney, III, and many members of the Chaney family continue to work in the company. The firm describes its ethos as built on "Passion", with an emphasis on hard work, family values and a stated commitment to employees, customers and the communities it serves, as well as to the environment.
