Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation and one of the largest human services providers in California. Operating as the human services arm of the Catholic Church in the region, it serves the poor and vulnerable regardless of faith, guided by Catholic social teaching and a stated commitment to justice and human dignity. The organisation has provided help across Los Angeles for over a century and is accredited by the Council on Accreditation.
Its work is delivered through 18 community centers across the Los Angeles area and 10 homeless shelters.
