Bluevine

Bluevine runs the largest small business banking platform in the US, offering business checking, lending and payments to over 1 million small businesses.

Bluevine is a financial technology company that operates the largest small business banking platform in the United States. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey, the company runs an all-in-one financial operating system for startups and small businesses, serving more than 1 million firms nationwide. It employs over 500 people across offices in Redwood City, California; Salt Lake City, Utah; Tel Aviv, Israel; and Bengaluru, India.

The platform spans banking, lending and payments. Business Checking accounts carry no monthly fees, unlimited transactions and free standard ACH transfers, with interest of up to 3.0% APY; deposits are covered by FDIC insurance of up to $3 million per depositor. Lending products include revolving lines of credit, term loans, SBA-backed loans and, the company's original offering, working capital through invoice factoring. Other capabilities comprise accounts payable automation, cross-border international payments and tap-to-pay for in-person transactions. Technical work touches digital banking infrastructure, payments technology, credit underwriting and accounts payable automation.

Bluevine states a mission of giving small business owners more innovative, accessible and affordable banking than traditional institutions provide, and says it retains the agility and customer focus of a technology company. Its work has drawn industry recognition, including NerdWallet's Best Online Business Checking Account, CNBC's World's Top Fintech Companies and Money's Best Overall Small Business Bank. The workforce is distributed across the United States, Israel and India.
