BioLabs operates a membership-based network of shared laboratories and coworking spaces across 21 sites in five countries, giving life science startups access to research facilities, programming and investor connections.
BioLabs runs an international, membership-based network of shared laboratories and coworking spaces for life science companies. Its sites provide early-stage biotech startups and R&D teams with turnkey access to research facilities, state-of-the-art equipment and integrated office space, alongside entrepreneurial programming and connections to industry partners and investors. The network comprises 21 sites across five countries and three continents, situated within biotech innovation clusters in the United States, Europe and Asia.
Alongside physical infrastructure, BioLabs offers programming aimed at helping founders translate discoveries towards market, together with industry and investor networks. Its members span biotech, life sciences, pharmaceutical R&D, healthcare and sustainability. More than 500 life science companies have been supported through the network, and members have collectively raised upwards of $5 billion in funding.
The organisation describes its purpose as removing barriers for life science innovators, with an emphasis on community-building and collaboration across the network, from early-stage founders through to established R&D teams. Work centres on advancing human health and sustainability. Further detail is available at biolabs.io.
