Axiado

Axiado builds hardware-anchored platform security, embedding AI in silicon for real-time threat detection and its Trusted Control/Compute Unit system-on-chip for data centres and 5G networks.

Axiado develops hardware-anchored platform security, embedding AI directly into silicon to provide real-time, preemptive threat detection for digital infrastructure. The company's stated mission is to secure digital infrastructure from the silicon up, with a vision of making AI-driven platform security the default standard across the sector.

Its principal product, the Trusted Control/Compute Unit (TCU), is a single system-on-chip that integrates Root of Trust, Baseboard Management Controller, Trusted Platform Module, Hardware Security Module and firewall capabilities. The device is protected by AI-driven threat detection intended to stop attacks in real time, and it supports dynamic thermal management; Axiado states this can reduce data center energy consumption by up to 50%. The company positions the TCU against a problem it describes as long dwell times, noting that traditional threats can remain hidden for hundreds of days.

The work spans a set of technical domains including AI-driven hardware security, system-on-chip design, platform security, Root of Trust, TPM, HSM, BMC, hardware firewalls, threat detection, dynamic thermal management and energy efficiency optimisation. Target industries include cloud data centres, 5G telecommunications networks, accelerated computing platforms and digital infrastructure more broadly. Axiado has raised over $100 million in funding and partners with industry leaders such as Jabil and Gigabyte. It has been recognised by Fast Company as one of the world's most innovative companies.
