Altus Engineering

Altus Engineering is a limited liability engineering services firm based in Darlington, Maryland. Founded in 2003, the company works primarily with the U.S. Department of Defense, both as a prime contractor and as a subcontractor, on work aimed at increasing the survivability of military tactical systems.

Its technical work spans software design and integration, modelling and simulation, computer testing and development, and the evaluation and analysis of military systems. In practice this includes the design and modification of survivability analysis software, as well as the modelling and simulation of existing systems.

The company has completed more than 15 prime contracts with a combined value in excess of $50 million, and has a long history of performing work for the Army Research Lab.
