Alan & Grant is a people development company founded in 2016 that works with African businesses on talent management and human resources. The firm's stated purpose is to help organisations get more from their human capital, on the premise that workforce capability underpins innovation, productivity and growth. Its approach is bespoke: solutions are tailored to individual clients rather than applied uniformly, and are designed to align workforce capabilities with long-term corporate objectives.

The company operates seven service lines: HR Advisory, Organizational Development, Outsourcing Management, Human Capacity Development, Talent Acquisition, Enterprise Solutions, and Project & Programme Management. These cover recruitment and retention advisory, organisational capability programmes, managed outsourcing of workforce and HR functions, skills development, and project management for HR and organisational development initiatives. Two further initiatives sit alongside this work. First Steps is a graduate-level accelerator programme intended to develop early-career talent, and The Workplace Outlook examines how current economic conditions interact with HR practice.
