The group employs 1,316 people and serves roughly 60,000 clients worldwide. It operates 38 international locations and maintains partnerships across 100 countries, giving staff exposure to work of both national and international scope.
Its activities are organised around several units. AFNOR Certification, a subsidiary, certifies systems, products, services and individual competencies and is the leading certification body in France. AFNOR Editions distributes a collection of 100,000 French, European and international standards. A training division runs nine international training centres, delivering expertise development and management systems training.
Technical work spans standardization, certification, publishing, training services, quality and security standards, and interoperability standards. The group has been in operation for nearly a century.
