acre security builds software for physical security: access control, visitor management and intrusion detection. Founded in 2012, the company sells to organisations in more than 25 countries and designs its systems to work across cloud, on-premises and hybrid deployments. The product line comprises three areas. Access control systems are offered in cloud, on-premises and hybrid configurations and are built to integrate with the rest of the company's software. Growth has come partly through acquisition. Three companies - ACT, Comnet and TDS - have been bought and their technology absorbed into the wider ecosystem.
