Graphic Designer (Contract)

Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Graphic Designer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Work Lab's marketing campaigns and design operations by crafting visually compelling presentations, developing engaging marketing materials, and maintaining design system assets. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to projects that explore the future of work through innovative design solutions. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while working within Pacific Standard Time hours.
Job Responsibilities
- Craft visually compelling and brand-aligned presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Design compelling still and motion graphics to support marketing initiatives across multiple channels.
- Create and maintain marketing-focused components within our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Proficiency in PowerPoint or Keynote (minimum 2+ years of experience).
- 3-5 years of overall experience in graphic design; however, candidates with 2-4+ years of relevant experience will be considered due to budget constraints.
- A portfolio showcasing your design work is required for consideration.
- Experience designing presentations for consultancies is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects) (minimum 2+ years of experience).
- Familiarity with Figma (minimum 1+ year of experience).
- Excellent layout design skills, including editorial work and typography.
- Ability to create information graphics that effectively communicate complex ideas.
Additional Details
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 10 Months
- Pay Range: $26.50 - $30 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: They would work 10-30 hours per week. For example in September, week 1 would be 20 hours, week 2 would be 20 hours, week 3 would be 30 hours, week 4 would be 30 hours.
