Day to Day Responsibilities Summary:
The UX project manager's main job is to organize, lead, and oversee activities in UX design, content, research, and publishing teams. They work together with internal stakeholders and in-house full-stack UX team to create project timelines and ensure the UX team completes their work on schedule and within budget. They also join scrum calls with product managers and IT and bring in the UX team when necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals.
- Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
- Provide cost estimates.
- Design and execute project schedule.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Knowledge of computer software, such as Smartsheet, Jira, Planview.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience required working with UX teams.
