A day in the life…
- Flexing into new AURs / Supplier relationships with limited ramp up time.
- Manage & meet vendor SLAs and escalations; organize your own workflow to meet deadlines provided by the business and vendors
- Gather information and prioritize completion of item set-up, maintenance, and systematic ordering execution
- Make educated decisions on data needs, product attributes, and classification to ensure speed and quality are met
- Understand retail math and decisions made on product setup (including pricing) and PO management needs – i.e. shifts of PO $)
- Complete supplier-specific analysis for buying office and brands
- Work to continuously improve standards, reducing defects in data, process, and operations
- Support onboarding of new brands; walk through operational practices and expectations
- Point of contact for internal teams and vendors; answer questions regarding item data, setup, and PO management
- Identify and communicate new best practices or efficiencies across the team
- Utilize tools and systems to support established business processes and any additional processes as business evolves
- Follow through on commitments; meet or exceed timelines

- Current Merch Ops Brand Specialist experience required; with SME expert knowledge within Item and Ordering, meeting all Merch Ops KPIs
- Demonstrated ability to seamlessly integrate into new business areas and collaborate effectively with diverse management styles and teams.
- Proven capability to independently take on and drive projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Exceptional time management skills; 1+ year experience working on multiple time-critical issues simultaneously with accuracy/attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form productive partnerships with brands and cross-functional teams
- Experience with analyzing data, identifying root cause and using data to tell a story
- Self-motivated, self-starter capable of working and independently and learning quickly
- Strong sense of team and demonstrated experience extending yourself to others
- Leadership skills; ability to train, mentor and possibly lead an effective and efficient team
- Superb problem-solving skills, solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to embrace and drive change and the desire to continue evolve, be curious & ever-changing
- Understanding of customer needs, wants, and expectations
