POSITION:Warehouse Manager

Kore Recruiters is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our client who is a leading North American manufacturer. Our client is well known in the industry with 15+ manufacturing facilities across the United States and abroad.
This is a key role supporting one of the top manufacturing plants in PA. As a Warehouse Manager (Shipping), you'll be the central hub for the entire logistics operation. You'll use your expertise to lead the warehouse, shipping, and receiving departments, ensuring our metal and plastic building products get where they need to go, on time and accurately.
LEADERSHIP & TEAM MANAGEMENT:
You'll be responsible for guiding the entire warehouse team. Your primary leadership duties will include:
- Directing supervisors and overseeing the day-to-day activities of all hourly warehouse employees.
- Managing staffing levels, including scheduling, to ensure your departments have the support they need to succeed.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Leading the local delivery driver fleet, making sure they operate safely and efficiently.
- Drive a "zero-incident" safety mindset by championing best practices, ensuring rigorous compliance, and empowering team members to take ownership of workplace safety.
- Manage resource allocation, including personnel scheduling, equipment utilization, and material flow, to maximize productivity and adapt to dynamic production demands.
LOGISTICS & OPERATIONS:
Your role is critical in managing the flow of goods from our plant to our customers. This involves:
- Managing the entire multi-site operation, including order planning, traffic office tasks, material handling, receiving, picking, loading, and delivery.
- Coordinating with carriers, our corporate transportation team, and 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) companies to arrange for equipment and manage daily shipping needs.
- Ensuring accurate load planning that aligns with the regional shipping strategy.
- Building strong relationships with our suppliers and logistics partners, as they are crucial to our success.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across shifts and departments to ensure seamless operational continuity and rapid problem resolution.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & COMPLIANCE
We are always looking for ways to get better, and you'll be at the forefront of that effort.
- Driving continuous improvement and 6S initiatives throughout the warehouse, shipping, and receiving departments.
- Ensuring strict adherence to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
- Tracking and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Engagement, and Cost. You'll identify potential risks and resolve issues before they impact performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience managing high-volume operations (manufacturing environment)
- Experience leading a warehouse, shipping and receiving team including: hiring, training and motivating
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Performance metrics experience is an asset
- Min: High School diploma/GED + significant relevant experience
- Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Warehouse Management, Logistics or a related field degree is preferred
- Effectively lead and manage people in a fast-paced weekly operation
- DOT safety regulation knowledge (Class 8 trucks and trailers)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Internet software and E-mail is required
- ORACLE or similar experience
Education Preferred: Associates or better.
Experience Required: 3 years
