UX/UI Designer - Web
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 1 Year
Pay Rate: $100-$107/hr W2 (No C2C)
We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our web team, focusing on creating exceptional digital experiences for new pages and sites. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver design solutions that are functional, user-friendly, and aligned with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design intuitive, engaging, and on-brand user interfaces for web pages and sites.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma.
Partner with product owners, producers, and creative teams to translate requirements into effective design solutions.
Develop and maintain design systems for consistency across all digital properties.
Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
Ensure designs meet accessibility best practices and standards.
Collaborate with the web product team to support implementation.
Stay up to date with UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of UX/UI design experience for web platforms.
Expert proficiency with Figma for wireframes, prototypes, and design assets.
Strong portfolio demonstrating a digital-first design approach.
Experience designing responsive websites across desktop and mobile.
Strong visual design skills with an eye for typography, layout, and color theory.
Understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to incorporate feedback effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing for sites built on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS.
Knowledge of component-based CMS environments.
Understanding of WCAG/ADA accessibility standards.
Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
Familiarity with HTML/CSS concepts.
User research and usability testing experience.
