Director of Operations – Multi-Site

Our client, a leading national distributor of packaging, shipping, and industrial supplies, is seeking a Director of Operations to lead its multi-site distribution operations totaling over 1 million square feet.
This is a critical leadership opportunity focused on optimizing performance, scaling operations, and supporting continued expansion. The Director will oversee multiple facilities and lead a team of experienced operations leaders, driving safety, service, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee large-scale, multi-site distribution and fulfillment operations.
- Drive performance across KPIs, including productivity, safety, and quality.
- Lead expansion and integration efforts for new warehouse locations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, and Customer Service.
- Operate effectively in a unionized environment.
- Optimize systems and processes, including WMS/ERP functionality.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in high-volume warehouse or distribution leadership.
- Strong track record in scaling complex operations and driving improvement.
- Experience in unionized environments; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
