About The Role
Wing is looking for a
Program Manager to join our
Supply Chain and Manufacturing operations team. This role will be based in
Palo Alto, CA, USA. This position seeks highly motivated and technically inclined individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic team environment, driving operational excellence by identifying, analyzing, and resolving inefficiencies. You'll be a key player in cross-functional initiatives, translating complex data into actionable insights and championing impactful improvements from conception through implementation. We’re looking for people who are comfortable in ambiguity, excel at data-driven problem-solving, and are passionate about optimizing processes in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively identify emerging issues and areas of opportunity, conducting analyses of programs and processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Develop innovative solutions and detailed recommendations for process enhancements, technological improvements, or operational changes.
- Apply critical thinking and creative problem solving skills to all areas of sourcing and supply chain activities, including contracts, budgeting, forecasting, and procurement.
- Quantify the potential benefits (e.g., cost savings, cycle time reduction, quality improvement) to build compelling business cases.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to gather, interpret, and present data that supports your findings and recommendations. Clearly articulate complex technical and operational concepts to both peer-level and senior leadership audiences.
- Partner effectively across engineering, manufacturing operations, program management, operations, supply chain, logistics, finance, and other critical departments to gather requirements, align on strategies, and ensure seamless program and project execution.
What You’ll Need
- 3-6+ years of experience in a technical program management, process improvement, data analysis, or operations role, preferably within a hardware operations, manufacturing or supply chain environment.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep understanding of sourcing, procurement, and contracting processes and best practices.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to extract insights from complex datasets and make data-backed recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels and presenting technical information clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects using best in class program management practices, drive projects to completion, and manage stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience working in multinational environments and with global supply chains is a significant plus.
