We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and within budget. This is a long-term contract position offering opportunities to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage various aspects of project coordination.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing capital expenditure projects, vacant space preparation, and tenant improvement initiatives within the assigned region.
• Collaborate with vendors to establish strong relationships and uphold the organization's reputation.
• Provide administrative support for contracts, invoices, and project documentation, while maintaining accurate records in the company’s data platform.
• Facilitate communication and coordination among regional construction, property management, and asset management teams.
• Contribute to monthly financial reporting and cash forecasting for construction operations.
• Ensure timely updates on project budgets and associated documentation.
• Travel to project sites as needed to oversee construction activities and address related issues.
• Maintain an adaptable and focused approach while responding to dynamic project requirements and timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Up to 2 years of commercial construction experience, including internships.
• Familiarity with new construction, renovations, and industrial projects is highly desirable.
• Proficient in project management software, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and Yardi.
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage details effectively.
• Capable of interpreting construction documents and legal contracts.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to solve problems, analyze data, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
