Our client is a leading GC with a track record of delivering World Class projects across the globe. Due to a combination of succession planning and new contract awards, they are now looking to appoint a Project Director with a proven track record in delivering large-scale construction projects is sought to join a dynamic and accomplished team in Miami.
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in building hotels, airports, ports, or large retail outlets. In this role, the Project Director will be responsible for overseeing all phases of complex projects, from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
- Leads and manages all aspects of large construction projects.
- Develops and executes project plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Manages project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensures compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
- Identifies and mitigates project risks.
The Person
- Extensive experience as a Project Director on major construction projects (hotels, airports, ports, or large retail outlets).
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Miami.
