Position OverviewGeneration Ready is seeking a dynamic HR Manager to join our growing team. This unique position combines traditional human resources functions with strategic talent acquisition, consultant onboarding, and project allocation responsibilities. The ideal candidate will serve as a bridge between our educational consultants, partnering schools, and administrative team ensuring optimal matches between consultant expertise and school needs while maintaining HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top-tier education consultants with expertise in mathematics, literacy, and other specialized areas
- Source candidates through a variety of networks
- Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interview processes with leadership team
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for various subject areas and grade levels
Consultant Onboarding- Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new consultants, ensuring they understand Generation Ready's philosophy, methodologies, and client expectations
- Coordinate background checks, credentialing, and compliance requirements
- Facilitate orientation sessions covering company policies, project management tools, and client relationship protocols
Project Allocation & Client Matching- Collaborate with administrative team to understand specific client needs, school demographics, and project requirements
- Analyze consultant skills, experience, and availability to make strategic placement decisions
- Maintain detailed profiles of consultant expertise, including subject matter specializations, grade-level experience, and school familiarity
- Coordinate project assignments and consultant schedules to maximize utilization and client satisfaction
- Monitor project progress and consultant performance, making adjustments as needed
Traditional HR Operations- Manage consultant contracts, compensation structures, and benefits administration
- Address consultant concerns, conflicts, and workplace issues with professionalism and discretion
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures specific to consultant workforce needs
Relationship Management & Communication - Serve as primary point of contact for consultants regarding HR-related questions and concerns
- Facilitate regular communication between consultants and leadership team
- Coordinate with administrative team on consultant payroll, expenses, and contract management
- Participate in client meetings when consultant staffing and expertise are discussed
Data Analysis and Reporting- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare and present reports on HR metrics to support decision-making.
- Analyze employee survey data (e.g., job satisfaction) to drive improvements.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in education, consulting, or professional services
- Experience with talent acquisition and recruitment, including sourcing and interviewing techniques
- Knowledge of employment law, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationships across all levels
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data-driven decision making
- Experience managing remote or distributed workforces
- Experience, or understanding of, K-12 education systems, curriculum standards, and classroom dynamics preferred but not required
