Job Summary
The Tenant Services Inventory Specialist is the single point of contact and responsible for overall accuracy of client inventory both on and off site, while maintaining minimum and maximum levels at all times. They work closely with client and all team members to ensure product availability with exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Including but not limited to:
- Maintaining the overall Furniture Asset Management Process.
- Maintain the minimum maximum levels to ensure client requests can be satisfied.
- Develop and maintain a master list of the client assets within SnapTracker.
- Maintain inbound and outbound tracking log.
- Maintain Attic Stock inventories at warehouse and on site.
- Produce reports to provide status to the client.
- Quarterly review of unused stored product and suggest disposition.
- Maintain the integrity of the on-site storage rooms (excellent and intelligent organization).
- Develop and maintain the in-out activity of the storage rooms.
- Submit and track orders to maintain the minimum-maximum levels.
- Works closely with the Workplace Lead Technician, Supervisor and Project Manager to support the ongoing daily activities and project work.
- Photograph and catalogue ALL assets being stored on and off site.
- Provide monthly data for storage usage for invoicing.
- Create, maintain and manage inventory reservations.
- Train staff on how to properly handle furniture on and off moving equipment.
- As time allows, support the install team when required.
- Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Working knowledge of SnapTracker a plus.
- Strong product knowledge of major furniture lines, mostly Allsteel and Herman Miller.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated; ability to work independently.
- Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent and effective organizational skills.
- Strong working knowledge of how to handle furniture on and off moving equipment.
- Excellent and effective oral and written communication.
- Ability to see the big picture and integrate into day-to-day tasks and activities.
- Customer service, problem solving, time management is essential.
- Fluid interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a wide range of management and staff.
- Experience in customer service.
- 2 years previous experience managing furniture inventories.
- Valid California Driver’s License.
