They are looking for a strategic, savvy, and hands-on Social Media Manager who is not only passionate about beauty but also a digital storyteller. As a crucial part of their marketing team, you will develop and execute social media strategies that amplify the brand’s presence, engage with their loyal audience, and drive growth.
Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy & Execution: Design and lead social media strategies that align with our brand’s vision and business goals. Develop, plan, and execute a weekly content calendar across organic social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc.), ensuring brand consistency and excitement for product launches and promotions.
- Content Creation & Copywriting: Craft and edit compelling copy for all social channels that resonates with our target audience, partnering closely with our Social Media Coordinators and Content Creators. Produce captivating content, including text, images, and videos, and be comfortable both behind and in front of the camera if needed.
- Collaborative Leadership: Mentor and oversee the Social Media Coordinators, reviewing posting schedules and offering guidance to ensure impactful and brand-aligned social engagement.
- Real-Time Engagement: Monitor and engage with followers in real-time, responding to comments and direct messages thoughtfully and promptly to foster community and build brand advocacy.
- Brand Consistency & Storytelling: Ensure that all posts reflect our brand’s voice, aesthetic, and message, crafting a consistent digital narrative. Utilize strong videography and editing skills to create authentic, socially-native content.
- Analytics & Optimization: Track, analyze, and report on social media performance weekly, monthly, and quarterly. Make data-driven recommendations to refine and optimize social strategies, elevate engagement, and improve ROI.
- Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of social media trends, beauty industry movements, and relevant cultural events. Bring fresh ideas and best-in-class examples to the table that resonate with our audience, particularly Millennials and Gen Z.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Creative, Digital Marketing, Merchandising) to ensure social strategies are in sync with broader brand initiatives, campaign timelines, and retailer partnerships.
- Brand Growth & Community Building: Develop actionable plans to grow our following, deepen engagement, and increase brand loyalty through meaningful interactions and innovative content.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience managing and executing social media strategies, ideally within beauty, wellness, or a lifestyle brand. (brand side/in-house preferred)
- Expert understanding of social media platforms and best practices, with demonstrated experience driving growth and engagement.
- Exceptional communication, project management, and content creation skills, including proficiency in videography and editing for social media.
