Data Scientist to support a potential contract award with
Library of Congress. This role is contingent upon contract award and will play a critical part in our efforts to deliver exceptional results for this opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct advanced quantitative analysis of large, complex datasets.
- Develop algorithms, models, and software to support predictive analytics and machine learning.
- Translate data insights into clear, actionable intelligence for decision-makers.
- Collaborate with visualization specialists and software engineers to develop end-to-end data products.
- Apply data conditioning, transformation, and modeling techniques to real-world use cases.
Requirements
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in tools like Python, R, SAS, Stata.
- Experience analyzing large cross-sectional and time-series data.
- Knowledge of big data environments and data cleaning practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with federal data or open government datasets.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments.
- Exposure to AI/ML techniques in public sector applications.
Salary
Salary is commensurate with both location and experience.
