Project Manager. The Project Manager will perform tasks involving managing, planning, and coordinating activities to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished. The Project Manager oversees all activities related to government contract operations and development of operations services and administration.
Essential Functions
- Develops and manages budgets, controlling costs to ensure the project stays within budget.
- Assigns and coordinates personnel and subcontractors for project execution.
- Ensures necessary tools and equipment are available, properly maintained, and that personnel are appropriately trained to use tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Selects and manages subcontractors; negotiates contracts, service agreements, and service level agreements: and ensures subcontractors meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of maintenance and renovation projects and addresses issues that arise during project execution.
- Conducts regular inspections and audits to verify work quality.
- Ensures all maintenance complies with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
- Implements and enforces safety protocols and practices.
- Maintains clear and effective communication with the customer and facility stakeholders.
- Provides regular project status updates and prepares reports.
- Addresses customer concerns and complaints effectively and efficiently.
- Develops and maintains schedules, milestones, and timelines; and adjusts schedules as needed to
- accommodate changes or delays.
- Maintains accurate documentation, including plans, schedules, contracts, and progress reports; and ensures documentation is organized and accessible to team members and stakeholders.
- Identifies, addresses, and implements strategies for resolving issues and conflicts.
- Identifies potential risks associated with maintenance and renovations and develops risk mitigation plans to address those risks.
- Implements sustainability practices, such as energy efficient upgrades, waste reduction, and
- environmentally responsible operations.
- Ensures facility occupants have a safe, clean, and functional environment.
Education/Certifications
- Minimal of High School diploma is required
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- 8 years of O&M and Facilities Management experience required.
- 8 years of Project Management experience required.
- Experience supervising employee is required.
- Federal government contracting experience is required.
- Experience working on system including HVAC, life-safety, mechanical, electrical, plumbing is required.
