The Product Team at RTA is looking for a UX Designer to help grow our team and play a key role in creating engaging and effective user interfaces for fleet managers, parts clerks, and technicians. This role combines creativity, attention to detail, and collaboration to design dashboards, reports, and interfaces that solve real-world problems. You’ll work closely with fleet experts, product managers, and developers to create intuitive and impactful designs that make life easier for our clients.

- Has experience designing user interfaces for data-rich applications, with a focus on usability and clarity.
- Analyzes data to understand how users interact with a product
- Conducts user interviews, surveys, and documents and can provide user feedback
- Creates personas and user journeys to map the user experience
- Defines user problems and collaborates with product and engineering to align on goals
- Creates wireframes, prototypes, and mockups that show what the product will look and feel like
- Focuses on layout, navigation, and flow—how users move through a product
- Runs usability tests/research to observe how users interact with designs
- Gathers feedback and iterates on the design to fix friction points
- Ensures the final product matches the design and meets user needs
- Can create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas effectively.
- Communicates design choices clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborates with product and development teams to ensure designs are implemented seamlessly.
- Bonus points for familiarity with tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, as well as knowledge of frontend frameworks like Vuetify.

- 5+ years of UX/UI experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing data-focused applications.
- Proficient in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Other tech stack: Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
- Familiarity with prototyping and user testing methodologies.
- Basic understanding of data visualization and user-centric design principles.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with fleet management or logistics tools.
- Knowledge of frontend development concepts (Vuetify, HTML/CSS, or similar).
- Certifications or training in UX/UI design or human-computer interaction.
