Your Mission
- Pioneer ML Models: Design and test cutting-edge ML methods to optimize capsid designs for game-changing gene therapies.
- Team Up: Work closely with our experimental team to shape data collection and validate your models for real-world impact.
- Innovate Boldly: Push the boundaries of protein engineering with structure-based models (think AlphaFold vibes) and biological sequence design.
- Shape the Future: Lead method development in our ML-driven, lab-in-the-loop setup.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Biology, Computer Science, or related field (or a Master’s with standout industry experience from a top institution).
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience building ML models from the ground up, ideally in protein or biological sequence design.
- Impressive publications in leading ML or computational biology journals.
- Python and PyTorch wizard with a passion for solving tough biological puzzles.
- Eager to work hybrid in New York or Boston (at least 1 day/week in-office).
Preferred Skills
- Nice-to-Have: Background in protein engineering campaigns
Pay range and compensation package
- Rewards: $180K–$210K base, 10% bonus, stock options, and visa sponsorship (H-1B or OPT with 1+ year remaining).
