The Role
Sway is seeking an
Onboarding Coordinator to support our Driver Operations team across all markets. In this
entry-level, onsite role based in
Los Angeles, CA, you’ll help ensure a smooth and positive experience for new drivers from the moment they apply. You’ll work closely with the Central Operations Team to assist with onboarding tasks, communicate with applicants, and provide administrative support to keep things running efficiently.

What You'll Do
- Support the driver onboarding process by assisting with documentation, background checks, and application follow-ups.
- Communicate with applicants via email, phone, or SMS to guide them through the onboarding steps.
- Help track onboarding progress and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
- Assist in coordinating with third-party services (e.g., background check providers) as needed.
- Provide scheduling support and help organize onboarding sessions or calls.
- Respond to basic questions related to the application process and escalate issues when necessary.
- Assist with outreach efforts to encourage applicant completion.
- Provide general administrative and operations support to the Central Ops team.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in operations, customer service, or administrative support (internships or part-time roles okay)
- Comfortable communicating with independent contractors or external partners
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work onsite at the warehouse facility full-time
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in operations, logistics, or e-commerce
- Experience supporting onboarding, recruiting, or administrative workflows
- Customer service or help desk experience is a plus
- Basic spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets or Excel)
- Enthusiastic about working in a startup environment and growing with the team
