About The Role
As Costing Analytics Analyst, you will identify and communicate analytics related to optimizing private brand cost of goods.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct analysis, determine insights and collaborate with different stakeholders
- Examine large data sets to identify trends, develop charts and create visual presentations to help businesses make more strategic decisions
- Leverage a suite of analytics tools to analyze spend and pricing data and identify spend optimization and cost reduction opportunities
- Support the Senior Costing Analytics Analyst in identifying key insights from analyses, cutting through large amounts of data to quickly identify trends and implications on the sourcing strategy approach
- Provide analysis to inform insights, reporting on findings and using analyses to help the sourcing team prepare for critical vendor negotiations and overall company decision-making initiatives
- Support Sourcing Optimizing tool RFQ events
- Additional tasks may be assigned
Required
What Skills You Have
- Undergraduate degree in Science, Finance or other quantitative field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to translate analysis into insights
Preferred
- 2+ years of analytics and insights experience, particularly:
- Advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets
- Experience building dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools (ex: Tableau)
- Experience using SQL to query data in a data warehouse (ex: Teradata, BigQuery)
- Experience with purchasing or supply chain management in the apparel / home goods industry and/or retail knowledge
- Experience presenting complex data analyses
- Experience w/RFI, RFP including Sourcing Optimization tool experience
- Modeling experience
- R/Python programming skills
