Job DetailsProject Manager Civil Engineer - Land/Site Development
Responsibilities:
- Leading business development efforts and pursuit planning
- Providing technical oversight and review of existing project activities
- Design experience focused on grading, utilities, low impact development, drainage and public improvements
- Managing staff, budgeting, scheduling, and cost estimating
- Reviewing client service needs and contracts
- Acting as client advocate while maintaining client satisfaction
- Assisting with entitlement process and permit processing for development projects and coordinating with land use consultants
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional registration (PE license) as a Civil Engineer in the state of California
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience as a project manager in civil engineering design with private development, facilities, infrastructure and public works design projects
- Ability to manage multi-discipline engineering projects, clients and staff; set fees and negotiate contracts including: prepare and deliver presentations; write proposals; respond to RFPs and RFQs, and project invoicing
- Prior experience delivering projects for private developers in Southern California and surrounding area municipalities, agencies and institutions
- Expert technical knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
