What You’ll Be Doing
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you play a key role in ensuring seamless operations within the organization’s storage and distribution hub. Leading a dedicated team, you oversee daily activities with precision, efficiency, and a keen eye for optimization. Collaboration is at the heart of this role—working closely with various departments to keep processes aligned and inventory well-managed. Beyond logistics, you cultivate a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and professional growth. Whether it’s troubleshooting challenges, maintaining compliance, or driving improvements, your leadership keeps the warehouse running smoothly and effectively. You will perform the following key functions:
- Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
- Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment
- Prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment
- Confers with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control and purchasing
- Directs salvage of damaged or used material
- Responsible for utilization and training of WMS system
- Responsible for maintaining, labeling and handling of hazardous waste
- Directly supervises 3-6 employees in the Warehouse
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner so that you get along with clients, customers, vendors, co-workers and supervisors
- Any and all other duties as assigned by the manager and/or designee
What You Bring
- 1 to 2 years
- Experience working with cross functional groups. Understanding of product development process.
- Expertise in laws and requirements for food manufacturing compliance.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- A drive to succeed with a self-starter approach and a can-do attitude.
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Employees are occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. To ensure safety, all employees are required to use personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary, including but not limited to gloves, hairnets, safety glasses, ear protection, and other protection when applicable.
