Job Scope: Responsible for performing HR-administration duties on a professional level, supporting the HR team in meeting deadlines and performance expectations, reporting to and with direction from the Sr. HR Generalist. This position carries responsibilities in the following functional areas: onboarding/employment compliance, talent acquisition, employee recognition, payroll/benefits, auditing compliance activities/bill review, and other HR administrative support tasks as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities - Support New Hire Orientation and on-boarding process
- Maintain confidentiality of all documents in all processes.
- Administering Welcome Mugs, ID badges
- Processing reference checks, employment verifications, background checks, and required database checks
- Fingerprinting compliance
- Creating offer letters
- Maintaining employee records in billing system and payroll
- Administrative Tasks: scanning/filing of HR paperwork, business card ordering, auditing Accurate and Physician’s Immediate Care bills, maintaining supply stocks, weekly staff transition reporting, completing PSLF forms, credit card administration (receipts) and other duties as assigned
- Auditing files – new hire, transition, BALC, Age Options, Dept. of Aging, Joint Commission, DL/Auto Insurance/License/Certification, and performance reviews.
- Employee Recognition administration (Together We Thrive Award, Birthdays/Anniversaries lists etc…)
- Provide coverage of HR e-mail - Communicating general Human Resources information to employees, ensuring compliance with all HR requirements
- Creating and maintaining CAQH database profiles for licensed staff
- Participates in department staff meetings, supervision, and attends other meetings/trainings
- Cultivate relationships with staff members and vendors.
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Associate degree preferred, but will consider equivalent experience
- One (1) year office administration experience preferred
- One (1) year human resources experience preferred
- Excellent computer skills
- Experience using Microsoft Suite preferred
- Excellent communication skills
Schedule
- Full-time, Non-exempt, 37.5 hour work week
