Singapore Airlines is seeking an experienced TMC Account Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market share within our regional portfolio of large Travel Management Companies (TMCs). In this dynamic role, you will develop strategic sales plans, foster strong client relationships, and leverage consultative selling techniques to promote our passenger ticket sales and MICE offerings. Key Responsibilities
• Develop, promote, and service TMC-driven passenger ticket sales through targeted in-person meetings, telephone calls, and digital correspondence.
• Collaborate closely with accounts to expand NDC penetration and maximize revenue opportunities.
• Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to design and implement cost-effective sales strategies that achieve revenue, traffic, and share targets.
• Oversee the MICE portfolio in the TMC channel by leveraging existing relationships and forging new partnerships to boost MICE sales.
• Establish and maintain regular, direct contact with both current and prospective customers, ensuring repeat and new business through strong, trusted relationships across various organizational levels.
• Initiate impactful sales activities—including sales blitzes, educational seminars, presentations, and roadshows—with a focus on maximizing ROI. Represent Singapore Airlines at industry events, conventions, and trade functions to promote our products and destinations.
• Create compelling selling propositions by combining contract components and TMC incentives tailored to our diverse portfolio of accounts.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and foster customer loyalty.
• Prepare and present regular management reports detailing sales efforts, competitive activities, and market trends.
• Assist with resolving and collecting agency debit memos and other outstanding payments in accordance with company guidelines.
• Support corporate sales initiatives driven through TMC channels.
• Utilize Salesforce to manage call patterns, generate reports, source leads, and track progress.
• Leverage Tableau dashboards for data analysis and insights.
• Perform additional projects and duties as needed, including occasional availability outside regular office hours and on weekends for operational demands.
Qualifications
• A minimum of three years’ sales experience in the air travel industry, focusing on global and regional TMC sales.
• Established familiarity with corporate travel buyers and sellers in the Midwest market.
• Proven experience and contacts with MICE travel buyers is highly desirable.
• Understanding of NDC is a strong advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Tableau, AI, Sabre360, and NDCx is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with a results-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in office IT tools and data analysis.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to your own car for sales visits.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Residing within driving distance of a major international airport is ideal.
