Guided by the Player 15 Group Values and Principles, the Team Member Experience Manager is an enthusiastic coach and proactive partner for the team and business, across all departments and teams (Suns, Valley Suns and Mercury). This highly visible role is fully dedicated to our Player 15 Group team members- their needs, their development and their engagement.

This role will focus on supporting and enhancing the organizational culture for all team members, inclusive of varying experiences and backgrounds. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, the ideal candidate will take ownership of integrating and aligning our engagement strategy with business goals, our diversity, equity & inclusion mission, and our Player 15 Values and Principles.
The Team Member Experience Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive, engaging, and high-performing work environment and culture at Player 15. Responsible for the planning and execution of team member engagement initiatives, measuring and analyzing the team member experience, supporting the onboarding process, and actively contributing to the maintenance and evolution of our company culture. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, creative, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for people and a strong understanding of what drives a positive workplace culture. The ultimate goal of this role is to ensure that team members feel valued, supported and connected to the Player 15 culture.
What You Will Do
Moments that Matter:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of team member engagement initiative (e.g., team-building activities, social events, recognition programs, learning opportunities), inclusive of managing the aligned budget.
- Develop and implement smaller, more frequent engagement activities to foster connection and morale.
- Champion the continued development of team member programs such as rewards and recognition, mentorship programs, and values/ principles integration.
- Curate meaningful experiences around birthdays, anniversaries, promotions, life events, etc.
Feedback And Listening
- Develop and execute approaches to gather insights and improve the team member experience (like surveys, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms).
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders, including recommendations for action.
- Track key metrics related to team member satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
Onboarding And Offboarding Support
- Collaborate with the People and Culture team to enhance and deliver a welcoming and comprehensive onboarding experience for new team members.
- Act as a point of contact for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company culture.
- Gather feedback from new hires and partner with Talent Acquisition to continuously improve the onboarding process.
- Design and manage processes that help exiting employees feel appreciated.
Culture Champion
- Act as a positive advocate for the company culture, promoting our values and fostering a sense of belonging.
- Continuously look for inspiration from external engagement, learning and development, and DE&I practitioners.
- Form and maintain connections in the community and represent the organization as an ambassador of our brand, culture, and values.
- Help craft clear, consistent communication that connects people to the company's values and principles.
- Keep a "pulse" on the culture through informal interactions, observations, and feedback.
Administrative & Project Management
- Manage project timelines and deliverables for engagement and experience initiatives.
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to team member experience activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally- IT, Communication, Facilities and other teams- to create seamless day-to-day experiences.
- Assist with other HR or People & Culture projects as needed.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- This is on-site/ in office role.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related discipline, or equivalent work or military experience, combined with education.
- 5+ years of experience and proven success in building, driving, leading, and implementing innovative and comprehensive engagement, learning, or DE&I strategies and solutions.
