MUST:
- 1 year of experience in either customer support, sales support, or call center
- Must have customer service experience from either med device, logistics, manufacturing (a company that moves freight)
- Hands on experience with SKU codes
- Experience tracking shipping and freight and reporting to customers on their orders
- Experience with inbound calls (calls come from sales reps in this role)
- Has hands on worked with an ERP system
- Basic Excel skills

Day to day:
Our medical device client is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for the receipt and processing of customer orders as well as reviewing orders for accuracy. This position coordinates standard customer inquiries concerning order-related questions where answers are easily obtained. The Customer Service Representative role directly communicates with the sales force and our customers in a clear, efficient, and consistent manner. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing effective customer support across all aspects of the business for both internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products, programs and systems. This role will work closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Planning and Quality teams. This role works with an ERP daily, so some exposure to an ERP software is preferred.
This person will handle calls that are more in depth and responding to emails as well. Incoming calls will come from the Sales Reps at this company and a typical workflow could look like: a request comes through from sales, then this individual enters the data, and ships the product. This person will input and process orders, provide tracking numbers, communicate delays, and much more. This person will mainly communicate with Sales Reps, but could also help out other teams and in turn talk with surgeon’s offices. Strong knowledge of shipping products is desired as well as customer support within logistics or distribution space specifically with experience tracking inventory and packages and then reporting that to sales personnel. Lastly, we are seeking someone who is able to multitask and pivot quickly and strong experience communicating to customers.
